Introduction

The Littelfuse 229/230 Series Slo-Blo® fuses are available in 2AG size cartridge or axial lead configurations, with an optional blow indicator feature and design characteristics that meet the stringent requirements of the telecommunications industry. Ordering 229/230 Series products with the blow indicator option causes the glass body to change color immediately upon blowing. They offer the same performance characteristics as standard products, helping to reduce the time spent locating blown fuses and troubleshooting circuit problems. Products in this series ranging from 0.25A to 1.25A combine traditional overcurrent protection capability with the ability to withstand high-current, short-duration pulses, meeting the short-circuit requirements for telephone equipment per UL 60950-1/UL 62368-1.
