Introduction

Many Japanese automakers use the 294 series automotive PAL fuses as original equipment to protect alternators and starters. These bolt-down fuses also feature blade terminals, providing multiple mounting options. In testing, with current applied for 5 minutes then switched off for 10 minutes, each 294 series PAL fuse met its performance requirements when subjected to 50% of its rated amperage for 10,000 cycles. Testing was conducted at a bolt-down tubular fuse temperature of 24℃.
