Introduction

TR-R and TRS-R are UL/CSA certified power fuses in the Time-Delay/Class RK5 category, and are among the most popular fuses for motor circuit protection. The TR-R is rated at 250VAC, 250VDC (0.1–2.8A; 35–400A), and 160VDC (3–30A; 450–600A), with current ratings from 1/10 to 600A, AC interrupting rating of 200kA, and DC interrupting rating of 20kA. The TRS-R builds upon existing products with advanced material technology for overcurrent protection of motors, transformers, service entrance equipment, feeders, and branch circuits. It features time-delay characteristics to handle inrush and surge currents, with optional SmartSpot® blown fuse indication technology. Voltage ratings are 600VAC, 600VDC (0.1–12A; 70–600A), and 300VDC (15–60A), with current ratings from 1/10 to 600A, AC interrupting rating of 200kA, DC interrupting rating of 20kA for 1/10–60A, and DC interrupting rating of 100kA for 70–600A.
