Introduction

The TEPJ series is a chip-type surface mount device providing overcurrent and overcharge protection. It incorporates a fuse element to ensure stable operation under normal current conditions and to interrupt current in the event of overcurrent. It also contains a resistive heating element designed for use in combination with voltage detection devices such as ICs and FETs. When overvoltage is detected, the heating element is electrically energized to generate heat, thereby blowing the fuse element to achieve overvoltage protection.
