Introduction

The 487 Series is a 6x20mm fast-acting ceramic body fuse rated at 420VAC/420VDC, designed to ensure optimal coordination between power supply units and electrical circuit breaker panels during short-circuit and overcurrent faults. When installed in a power supply unit, the 487 Series fuse operates faster than the circuit breaker, removing the faulty power supply unit while preventing the circuit breaker from shutting down other critical systems. With its 420VAC rating, the 487 Series is ideal for high-energy applications such as three-phase power supplies, inverters, and ballasts. With its 420VDC rating, it is well-suited for high-voltage DC power distribution in data centers, telecommunications applications, and intelligent commercial buildings.
