Introduction

The TEPJ series is a chip-type SMD that provides overcurrent and overcharge protection. It incorporates a fuse element that ensures stable operation under normal current conditions and interrupts current flow upon overcurrent occurrence. It also includes a resistive heating element, which can be used in combination with voltage detection devices such as ICs and FETs. When overvoltage is detected, the heating element is electrically energized to generate heat, blowing the fuse element and thereby achieving overvoltage protection.
