Introduction

The TEPH series is a chip-type surface mount device that provides overcurrent and overcharge protection. It incorporates a fuse element to ensure stable operation under normal current conditions and to interrupt current in the event of overcurrent. It also includes a resistive heating element that can be used in conjunction with voltage detection devices such as ICs and FETs. When overvoltage is detected, the heating element is electrically energized to generate heat, thereby blowing the fuse element and achieving overvoltage protection.
