Introduction

The TEPH series is a chip-type SMT device that provides overcurrent and overcharge protection. It incorporates a fuse element that ensures stable operation under normal current conditions and interrupts current in the event of an overcurrent. It also includes a resistive heating element that can be used in conjunction with voltage detection devices such as ICs and FETs. When an overvoltage is detected, the heating element is electrically energized to generate heat, which blows the fuse element to achieve overvoltage protection.
