Introduction

The TEPH series is a chip-type SMD device that provides dual protection against overcurrent and overcharge. It incorporates a fuse element that ensures stable operation under normal current conditions and interrupts current flow upon overcurrent events. It also includes a resistive heating element, which can be used in conjunction with voltage detection devices such as ICs and MOSFETs. When an overvoltage condition is detected, the heating element is electrically energized to generate heat, thereby blowing the fuse element to achieve overvoltage protection.
