Introduction

The TEPK series is a chip-type SMD device that provides overcurrent and overcharge protection. It incorporates a fuse element to ensure stable operation under normal current conditions and to interrupt current in the event of an overcurrent. It also includes a resistive heating element that can be used in conjunction with voltage detection devices such as ICs and MOSFETs. When an overvoltage is detected, the heating element is electrically energized to generate heat, thereby blowing the fuse element to achieve overvoltage protection.
