Introduction

The TEPK series is a surface-mount battery protector designed to guard against overcurrent and overcharging. It incorporates a fuse element to ensure stable operation under normal current conditions and to interrupt current in the event of an overcurrent fault. It also includes a resistive heating element that can be used in combination with voltage detection devices such as ICs and FETs. When an overvoltage condition is detected, the heating element is electrically energized to generate heat, which blows the fuse element and thereby provides overvoltage protection.
