Introduction

The TEPK series is a surface-mount chip device that provides both overcurrent and overcharge protection. It incorporates a fuse element that ensures stable operation under normal current and interrupts the circuit upon overcurrent. It also includes a resistive heating element that can be used in conjunction with voltage detection devices such as ICs and FETs. When overvoltage is detected, the heating element is energized to generate heat, blowing the fuse element and thus achieving overvoltage protection.
