Introduction

The TEPK series is a chip-type SMT device that provides overcurrent and overcharge protection. It incorporates a fuse element to ensure stable operation under normal current conditions and to interrupt current in the event of overcurrent. It also includes a resistive heating element that can be used in conjunction with voltage detection devices such as ICs and FETs. When overvoltage is detected, the heating element is electrically energized to generate heat, causing the fuse element to blow and thereby achieving overvoltage protection.
