Introduction

The TEPK series is a chip-type surface mount device that provides overcurrent and overcharge protection. It incorporates a fuse element that ensures stable operation under normal current conditions and interrupts the current when an overcurrent occurs. It also includes a resistive heating element designed to work in conjunction with voltage detection devices such as ICs and FETs. When an overvoltage is detected, the heating element is electrically energized to generate heat, thereby melting the fuse element to achieve overvoltage protection.
