Introduction

The TEPK series is a chip-type SMD device offering dual protection against overcurrent and overcharge. It incorporates a fuse element that ensures stable operation under normal current conditions and interrupts current flow in the event of an overcurrent. It also includes a resistive heating element designed to work in conjunction with voltage detection circuitry such as ICs and FETs. When an overvoltage condition is detected, the heating element is electrically energized to generate heat, thereby blowing the fuse element and providing overvoltage protection.
