Introduction

The TEPK series is a surface-mount chip-type device that provides dual protection against overcurrent and overcharge. The device incorporates a fuse element that ensures stable operation under normal current conditions and interrupts the current in the event of an overcurrent. It also integrates a resistive heating element designed to work in conjunction with voltage detection devices such as ICs and FETs. When an overvoltage is detected, the heating element is energized to generate heat, which blows the fuse element and thereby achieves overvoltage protection.
