Introduction

The TEPK series is a surface-mount chip-type device that provides overcurrent and overcharge protection. It incorporates a fuse element that ensures stable operation under normal current conditions and interrupts the current when overcurrent occurs. It also contains a resistive heating element that can be used in conjunction with voltage detection devices such as ICs and FETs. When overvoltage is detected, the heating element is energized to generate heat, melting the fuse element and thus achieving overvoltage protection.
