Introduction

The TEPK series is a chip-type surface mount device providing overcurrent and overcharge protection. It incorporates a fuse element that ensures stable operation under normal current conditions and interrupts the current in the event of an overcurrent. It also includes a resistive heating element, which can be used in conjunction with voltage detection circuitry such as ICs and FETs. When an overvoltage is detected, the heating element is electrically energized to generate heat, thereby blowing the fuse element and achieving overvoltage protection.
