Introduction

Littelfuse's 461 Series TeleLink surface-mount, surge-resistant fuses provide overcurrent protection for a wide range of telecommunications applications without the need for series resistors. When used in conjunction with Littelfuse's SIDACtor transient voltage suppressors (TVS) or GreentubeTM gas discharge tubes, this combination offers a compliant solution for standards and recommendations such as GR-1089–Core, TIA-968-A, UL/EN/IEC 60950, and ITU K.20 and K.21. The coordination requirements included in GR-1089–Core and ITU K.20/21 may require a series of impedance devices.
