Introduction

The HWB6 Series 58V hard-wired waterproof DC power distribution box is compact and ideally suited as an auxiliary and overflow circuit for a primary Power Distribution Module (PDM). The distribution box accommodates three plug-in circuit protection components, including a combination of MINI fuses, MINI circuit breakers, and MCAS fuses (adapter required, sold separately). This hard-wired power distribution module allows users to customize their own circuits by directly connecting wires to the components. These wires are crimped to the wiring harness via grommets to seal the bottom of the module. Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) locks provide secondary protection to ensure wires are securely held in place. The HWB6 Series uses Tyco MCP terminals, cable seals, and cavity plugs. The power distribution box is available with a clear or black gasketed cover, offering dust and waterproof protection rated at IP67/IP69K. The AssureLatch™ positive-seal latch ensures the cover is firmly secured. The clear cover option allows users to easily check the status of installed fuses, and a lanyard is also provided to prevent the cover from being lost during maintenance.
