Features

• Low-ampere, current-limiting, E-rated MV PT fuses are general-purpose fuses whose time-current characteristics allow electrical interchangeability with other fuses of the same E rating.
• E-rated general-purpose fuses must incorporate a current-responsive element that, in fuses rated 100E or below, melts within 300 seconds when RMS current is between 200% and 240% of the fuse's nameplate current rating, per ANSI C37.46.
• PT fuse physical dimensions facilitate installation in existing hardware.
• Space-saving dimensions simplify design considerations for new installations.
• Current-limiting fuses interrupt the circuit reliably even at low fault currents, limiting the magnitude of electromechanical stress in protected equipment.
