Introduction

Panel mount fuse holder for 1/2×1 inch fuses. Catalog symbol is HPC-D, panel mount type. This fuse holder is UL recognized under guide IZLT2, file number E14853, with flammability rating UL 94 HB. For electrical ratings, without UL recognition, maximum current with quick connect terminals is 20A. Replacement knob -BK/9987SA is available; CE mark indicates compliance with EU Low Voltage Directive (50-1000Vac, 75-1500Vdc). All other dimensional tolerances are ±0.015. Pollution degree assumed to be 3 per UL 840 (conductive pollution, or dry non-conductive pollution which becomes conductive due to expected condensation). A thicker panel may be used if the fuse holder load terminals are fully insulated (using UL recognized VW-1 rated insulating heat shrink tubing), or if the expected environmental pollution degree is 1 or 2, or if the panel is non-conductive material. Pollution degree 2 is generally only non-conductive pollution but may occasionally produce temporary conductivity due to condensation; pollution degree 1 has no pollution or only dry non-conductive pollution with no influence. Maximum panel thickness is 5.08mm/0.200 inch when mounting flange is behind the panel (flush with knob ferrule). Features screw-type knob with "O"-ring and panel gasket.
