Introduction

This fast-acting fuse serves as series protection for fluorescent luminaires, making it ideal for improving the safety and reliability of lighting fixtures. This 300 VAC time-delay fuse is well suited for lighting systems and is designed to handle the inrush current of ballast transformers. Littelfuse LGR and LMF series fuses along with the LHR fuse holder provide series protection for fluorescent luminaires, delivering enhanced safety and reliability for lighting systems. By fusing each fixture individually, electrical faults can be isolated from the rest of the circuit. An added benefit is the ability to quickly identify problematic fixtures and reduce maintenance time. The fuse holder is rated at 300V with current ratings up to 10A and is supplied with 7-inch 18 AWG leads. For two leads, order part number LHR000; for one lead with the other terminal accepting an 18 AWG ballast wire, order part number LHR001. The LHR001/LHR000 is compatible with a keyhole punch or a 0.875-inch knockout hole. Anti-rotation protection is provided when used with a keyhole punch.
