Introduction

This device is a serial multi-I/O flash memory utilizing MXSMIO® technology, offering a capacity of 8M bits. Its memory array is configurable as 8,388,608×1 bit, 4,194,304×2 bits (Dual I/O mode), or 2,097,152×4 bits (Quad I/O mode). The device contains 2048 individually erasable 4K-byte sectors, 128 individually erasable 32K-byte blocks, or 64 individually erasable 64K-byte blocks. It supports SPI mode 0 and mode 3. The device operates from a single power supply with a voltage range of 1.65V to 3.6V for read, erase, and program operations. It offers advanced security features, including block lock protection with status bits defining the protected area size, and an additional 8K-bit secured OTP region with an identifier that can be locked by the factory or the customer. The device also supports auto-erase and auto-program algorithms, a status register, software reset, program/erase suspend and resume functionality, and electronic identification via JEDEC manufacturer ID and device ID, RES, and REMS commands. It supports Serial Flash Discoverable Parameters mode and ID. On the hardware side, it provides a serial clock input.
