Introduction

24C02 is an I2C-compatible serial EEPROM device. It contains a 2Kb (256-byte) memory array organized as 8 bytes per page.

• Single-supply voltage with high-speed operation: minimum operating voltage down to 1.6V; supports 1MHz clock at 2.5V to 5.5V; supports 400kHz clock at 1.7V to 5.5V.
• Low-power CMOS technology.
• Read current: 0.2mA (400kHz, typical).
• Write current: 0.8mA (400kHz, typical).
• Schmitt trigger inputs with filtering for noise suppression.
• Sequential read and random read support.
• Page write mode with partial page write capability.
• Write protection for the entire memory array.
• Self-timed write cycle (5ms max).
• High reliability: 1,000,000 write cycle endurance; 100-year data retention; ESD HBM: 4kV; latch-up immunity: ±200mA (25℃).
