Introduction

The PTF series combines a set of resistance temperature detectors (RTD) using platinum resistive elements, leveraging the latest thin-film technology. It consists of a structured platinum thin film on a ceramic substrate, passivated with a glass coating. The connection leads are protected with glass at the soldering areas. The characteristic curve of this platinum RTD complies with DIN EN 60751. The use of platinum as the resistive material provides excellent long-term stability. Due to its small size and light weight, the RTD features a fast response time and small time constant, making it an ideal solution for fast and precise feedback control systems. The platinum temperature sensor (Pt-RTD) complies with DIN EN 60751, offering global interchangeability, a wide operating temperature range, and fast response time. Other geometries, nominal resistance values, and specific characteristics (TCR) are available upon request. The element may only be used without protection in dry and clean environments. Resistance drift after 1000 hours at 300°C is typically less than 0.03%, and it has passed AEC-Q200 qualification testing.
