Introduction

The Optilab PD-40 is a high-linearity, 40 GHz bandwidth InGaAs PIN photodetector, ideal for optical/electrical front-ends requiring wideband frequency response. The coplanar waveguide photodiode design optimizes speed and sensitivity for the 1260 nm to 1610 nm wavelength range, ensuring 40 GHz frequency response for both digital and analog applications. The front-illuminated mesa-structure PIN design supports high input power levels up to 10 mW. The PD-40 features a standard 2-pin package with K-connector output for easy assembly, available with or without an external protective housing. For more information, please contact Optilab.
