Introduction

PDV-P8101 is a cadmium sulfide (CdS) photoconductive photocell designed to sense light in the 400 to 700nm range. These photoresistors are available in multiple resistance values and feature a dual-lead plastic-coated ceramic package. Advanced Photonix CdS photocells are photoresistors for visible light measurement, designed to sense light in the 400 to 700nm range. Resistance decreases with increasing light intensity, with an efficiency characteristic similar to the human eye. These LDRs are available in multiple resistance values in either dual-lead plastic-coated ceramic or hermetically sealed TO metal can packages.
