Introduction

PDV-P9203 is a photoresistive cell with sensitivity in the visible light spectrum. The CdS photoresistor is mounted on a 2-pin ceramic package, with the photoresistor surface encapsulated in plastic for moisture resistance. Advanced Photonix CdS photoresistors are photoconductive cells designed for visible light measurement, sensing light in the 400 to 700nm range. Their resistance decreases as light intensity increases, with spectral response characteristics similar to the human eye. These LDRs are available in multiple resistance values, in either dual-pin plastic-coated ceramic packages or hermetically sealed TO metal can packages.
