Introduction

This is a digital infrared proximity sensor featuring an onboard button and indicator LED. It offers an adjustable detection range of 0 to 200 cm with real-time status feedback. Press the button to initiate the calibration mode, during which the indicator LED blinks and the detection distance can be adjusted. The sensor automatically detects and saves the distance to the obstacle in front of it. In addition, the sensor is equipped with a 3-pin data cable (digital signal output) for direct plug-in connection to an Arduino IO expansion board. This product is widely applicable in smart home, home security, intelligent detection and control, and robot obstacle avoidance. The sensor operates on the principle of diffuse reflection of infrared light off objects. When a person or object enters the sensing range in front of the sensor, the sensor immediately detects a presence and controls the output signal accordingly; when the person or object leaves the sensing range, the sensor detects no presence and stops the signal output, enabling intelligent control.
